The eighth edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) is scheduled to begin on October 26, 2024, presenting an exciting variety of fitness activities and experiences across the city. This initiative, launched in 2017 under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to increase public engagement and encourage more individuals to embrace a more active lifestyle. The DFC highlights Dubai’s ongoing endeavors to be recognized as the world’s most active city, inspiring residents to commit to 30 minutes of daily physical activity over 30 days.

Starting from Saturday, October 26, Dubai will transform into a massive fitness arena, offering 30 days filled with engaging fitness activities and community events aimed at helping participants achieve their 30×30 fitness goals. The challenge will run until Sunday, November 24, 2024, and promises an unparalleled experience for all participants, regardless of age or fitness level.

This year’s program introduces an expanded selection of workout opportunities across fitness villages and community hubs throughout the city. Participants can look forward to in-person classes that incorporate both traditional fitness trends and the latest workout fads. Iconic locations in Dubai will host major events designed to inspire movement within the community. One of the highlights of the challenge is the Dubai Run, presented by Mai Dubai, which turns Sheikh Zayed Road into an extensive running track. Registrations are now open for this event, which includes a 10km challenge or a more leisurely 5km route to accommodate various fitness levels.
